 Bif: Hey there, Sports Fans, Bif Larkin sitting down with the team captain for Reptiles 2 Da Maxx, Vengeance. How are you doing? Vengeance: I can't complain, Bif. Bif: Neither can I. So your team has different sponsorship than the other X-Ball teams, isn't that right? Vengeance: That's correct, Bif. Reptiles is actually sponsored by Nakamaji Corp., the owners and creators of X-Ball. Bif: As well as your creators. Vengeance: (pause) Yes, we were taken from our homes, and mutated from the tiny, peace-loving reptiles we were, into the battle ready hideous monsters we are now. Bif: You don't seem too happy about your situation, Vengeance. Vengeance: We're prisoners. We are held hostage by the Nakamaji Corp., and forced to participate in this barbaric sport for your enjoyment! Bif: You do know Nakamaji Corp. runs this newscast, too, right? Vengeance: Yes, I do. More than any other X-Ball team captain, Vengeance is there for the fight... The fight for the Reptiles freedom! Only by winning the X-Ball championship will the Reptiles be released from the iron clad grip of their masters, Nakamaji Corp. Having failed the Reptiles for the past two years, Vengeance is hoping that this year they will win, and finally be released. Vengeance is also a big fan of Shel Silverstein.

Pain, who was mutated from a boa constrictor, is a master of the squeeze play - literally! When an opponent gets close to Pain, he picks them up with his tail, and has been known to digest them for the rest of the game. When not on the field, Pain likes to curl up in front of a fire and read books by the Bronte Sisters. Wuthering Heights is his "absolute fave."

A master strategist, Instinct has written almost half of the X-Ball playbook. After his original team, The Scales of Justice, broke up, he joined the Reptiles 2 Da Maxx. Although not a slave like the rest of the Reptiles, he has joined their fight for freedom, and he would have saved them already, if it wasn't for those darn kids. Instinct enjoys long slithers on the beaches of Monster Island, and guava juice.

Rage is the most vicious player in the history of X-Ball. He gains strength through his anger, and you don't want to make him mad! Although Rage is a member of the Reptiles 2 Da Maxx, he's a wild card who has been known to play one side against the other. Rage is currently involved in an investigation of his actions during the X-Ball Finals last season, when he may or may not have helped the Bunny Pickin' Flowers beat his own team. He is currently dating Kimberly.

 Read Adrenaline's Spotlight!
Adrenaline was born in the labs of Nakamaji Corp. with the rest of his Reptile brethren, but due to an accident involving a clumsy janitor, a broom stick, and genetics, Adrenaline emerged from his birthing pod incomplete. In an effort to save him, the scientists encased him in a cyborg exoskeleton. Now, Adrenaline is a powerful cyborg, but as he is unable to feel or love, he lives in a world he never made. Adrenaline enjoys going to the opera, and cups of hot cocoa with the marshmallows in it. Unfortunately, he isn't moved by opera and can't really taste the hot cocoa, as he has no sensation in any part of his body. Half Reptile. Half Machine. All action!
