18 million bunnies consumed

Upon hearing the news that the new X-Ball season was to be held in space, the Bunny Pickin' Flowers, fresh from their Return of Kimberly celebration, packed up their stuff and boarded a rabbit-powered rocket of their own design.

Christened the Hareraiser, the spaceship lifted off without incident, clearing Earth's atmosphere after approximately 18 minutes of flight. Down on Earth, the families of the bunnies used for fuel solemnly waved goodbye as the craft took off.

Amanda, team captain for the Bunny-Pickin' Flowers, radioed a message to Earth's billions of X-Ball fans: "Yesss, my pretties. We have left your little planet. But we will be back. Oh, yesss, we will be back."

Heavy sounds of inhaling then filled the remaining five minutes of the transmission, since the smell of roasting bunnies was being piped from the engines into the main cabin.
