Have a "Jewel" of a a time

Fresh from their reconnaissance mission in Hong Kong, the Flowers immediately flew to New York City. Following the international trail of intrigue, the Flowers captured Jewel, the famous Alaskan chanteuse, who was inexplicably performing on the Central Park Summerstage in the dead of winter.

"Nows, my pretties," hissed Amanda, "yous will tells us where our Kimberly isss." Lexie almost punched Jewel in the face, but backed off when she noticed somebody had already broken all her teeth. Jewel repeatedly denied any involvement in Kimberly's disappearance. After 14 hours of intense physical pain, and another 12 interminable hours of the boardgame Risk, Jewel finally relented.

"Alaska," she panted, in ragged, sharp breaths. "I'm from Alaska." This non-admission of guilt from Jewel prompted a whoop of joy from the Flowers as they immediately booked a flight to Juno for no reason whatsoever. But it was really cheap, though, since they got an eastbound flight.

At presstime, it is still unclear why any airline would fly east from New York City to Alaska.
