Flowers Follow Trail To Alaska

Enter Iditarod for no reason at all

Continuing to pursue an increasingly specious line of investigation, the Bunny Pickin' Flowers took an 26-hour eastbound flight from New York to Juno, Alaska in search of their missing teammate, Kimberly.

Finding nothing of any interest in Juno, the Flowers took a bus to Anchorage, the only other city in Alaska they had ever heard of. There, the Flowers entered the the Iditarod, figuring they might find some clues somewhere. The 1,049-mile dog race through the Alaskan wilderness is considered the ultimate test of human endurance, conducted at a punishing pace and lasting over a week.

Shattering all records, the Flowers finished the race in three days. The judges in Nome were amazed at their speed and lack of dogs. "Wees were hungries," hissed Amanda, spitting blood all over the judges' faces.

Angry, tired, and at a dead end, the Flowers decided to call it a day and fly home to Monster Island. "Of courssse, wees are very disappointed," said Lexie of their efforts. "But we knows we will see Kimberly again. Is haves no doubts."
