They also cursed the day they emerged, fully formed, from their biochambers as tortured beasts whose souls would never rest.

"We are X-Ball's unholy beasts," howled Vengeance as reporters politely took notes on their legal pads. "We will never know a mother's love or a father's steady hand. Damn you Nakamaji! Damn you!"
