Pop Music Still Popular, say SnowmenDreams Not Hopelessly Dashed Against the Cliffs of Failure | |
|
Responding to recent reports on the demise of pop music, the Extreme Snowmen called an emergency press conference to discourage any "doom and gloomers, naysayers, or schadenfreuders" in the press corps from "raining on [their] snow parade." "Dude, there's no way people are getting tired of pop music!" argued Redd, the group's second backup vocalist and resident moonwalker. "That's why they call it 'pop' music. Because it's popular. Duh!" As further proof of pop's now and future dominance of the cultural landscape, Extreme Snowmen leader Coolboard Luke offered the following: "If you'll notice, the Backstreet Boys just released their first ever greatest hits collection 'Chapter One.' As you all know, anything with chapters always has lots of them, unless it's trying to be funny. So there's gotta be more chapters to come! Otherwise that title would make no sense." |
