Gridiron Wondering What Everybody is Doing on Friday

"Anybody want to see Planet of the Apes?"

Gridiron, team captain of Monkeys Who Play Sports, is wondering what everybody is doing on Friday, and if they're not busy if they want to catch the 7:15 showing of Planet of the Apes.

"I thought it would be fun," said Gridiron, "if we all just went in a big group and saw the movie. It looks pretty cool, and I like Tim Burton, and the cast is pretty good. So it might be a good time."

Planet of the Apes is popular director Tim Burton's "reimagining" of the classic movie of the same name.

"I mean, you don't have to tell me right now," continued Gridiron. "I think Links might be going, and maybe Puck. I'll be around Friday, just hanging out and reading, so even if you wanna give me a call then, that'd be great."

Widely considered a lackluster summer for blockbuster style movies, many die-hard film fans are hoping that Planet of the Apes will deliver the hardcore thrills they all look forward to.

"I mean, it has great dialogue: Bring the Spaceman," said Gridiron, deepening his voice, then laughing. "We'll get popcorn. Call me?"
