United States swears revenge

The world was shocked today to find out the real reason the United States was booted from the UN Human Rights Commission was to make room for Monster Island.

This surprising turn of events was put into motion months ago, when Vengeance secretly visited the UN during the X-Ball New York press tour.

"Well, I can tell you all now what happened," said Vengeance in a press conference after the announcement. "I visited with the Human Rights Commission to see if I could improve the conditions of my teammates and myself. They mentioned that the only way they could do something was if we were on the panel. So I pointed out the United States less than savory record, and that the Monster Island GNP was nearly 40,000 times larger than that of the United States. They agreed that we should be on the panel, so here we are now."

The United States is not sitting idly by. American President George W. Bush has vowed to take immediate action against Monster Island, as soon as he figures out where it is.
