Scalpers Arrested Outside X-Ball Arena Scalps Confiscated | |

| Monster Island, 04.19.01 - In an extensive sting operation this weekend, Nakamaji operatives identified and arrested over 150 scalpers in the X-Ball Arena parking lot, and confiscated the thousands of scalps they had been collecting from unsuspecting X-Ball Fans.
Declaring it a massive success, Hiro Nakamaji said this would "put scalping back in the hands of Nakamaji Corporation, where it should be." In the weeks prior to the arrests, scalping on Monster Island, and near the X-Ball Arena in particular, had been rising dramatically. "It was getting to the point," said Jacob Meyers, a rabid X-Ball fan, "where you could barely reach the stadium without losing at least some piece of your head. Sometimes it was just some hair, or a little bit of skin. My brother actually lost an ear." Horrible as that sounds, these incidents often went unreported. Most people thought it was just par for the course, if you wanted to witness an electrifying X-Ball game in person. But after watching unauthorized scalp after unauthorized scalp being carted off by underworld charlatans, Nakamaji knew it was time to put scalping on a timeout. During the implementation phase of Operation Davy Crockett, undercover field agents approaching the suspected scalpers and hinted that they might want to be scalped. If the scalpers obliged, they were arrested, and their scalps confiscated and shipped off to Thailand for use in the manufacture of genuine, authentic Nakamaji brand X-Ball Scalp-Hats. Now that the illegal activity is under control, fans can once again look forward to a more orderly, systematic scalping throughout the arena. "Because," said Nakamaji, "that's as much a part of the X-Ball Arena experience as brutal lashings or hot buttered popcorn."
