THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF X-BALLPart III: We Don't Need Another Hiro! | |
|
Japan, 1752 - Hiro awoke several hours later with a mild concussion and some internal bleeding. Pulling himself off the ground, he looked around, taking in his surroundings.
He was in some sort of cave, he could tell that by the open rock formation he was sitting in. Up above him was a smooth open cylinder, with the hole he had fallen through some fifty feet above. Wondering how one had gotten down in this cave, he pulled the handle, and revealed the source of the light. There, sitting in the center of a small room, in front of some steps, on an altar, in a bowl, almost covered in stone, was what was soon to be known all over the world as... the X-Ball. But to Hiro, it looked like delicious food*... |
