Flowers Reveal Strategy

Flowers Still Scary

After an off-hand comment by Bif Larkin in his commentary on last week's game, the Bunny Pickin' Flowers have gone public about their championship winning strategy.

"We let the others eliminate themselves," said team captain Amanda. "Meanwhile, we stand still and save our energy. That way, they are ready for the slaughter."

Although Amanda does agree this leads to less interesting X-Ball games, she rightly pointed out that the Flowers ruthless efficiency has yet to fail them. In the past five years, they have won over 70% of the X-Ball games that have been played, and due to a space time anomaly, almost 90% of the X-Ball games that have never been played.

Amanda continued by saying that the second part of their strategy is to lull other teams into a false sense of security, and that fans should look for them to throw the next game.

She then proceeded to flash her fangs at a passing group of school children, making them cry. Amanda added this was not part of the Flowers strategy, just good clean fun.

Commenting on Amanda's statements, Bif Larkin stated that, "It's very common practice among dominating sports teams to send out a curve-ball every once and a while. It keeps you on edge, like Brad Pitt's character in Twelve Monkeys."
