Bif: Well, did I just blink and miss and X-Ball game, Tad?

Tad: I think you did, Bif. That was, without a doubt, the shortest X-Ball game I have ever seen.

Bif: Sure was, Tad. There's not a lot more to say about it.

Tad: Well, I thought it was really exciting when--

Bif: When what?

Tad: Nothing. I was just trying to make conversation.

Bif: That Venemous Pudding was some Danger Zone danger, though.

Tad: Sure was.

Bif: I wish we could have seen something happen with it.

Tad: Me too.

Bif: Yeah.

Tad: Yeah.

Bif: You want to go get a drink?

Tad: Okay.

06.03.01 - Reptiles 2 Da Maxx held onto the top spot at the end of Game #4, the shortest game in the history of X-Ball.

Extreme Snowmen were eliminated in the first quarter when they didn't even show up. Apparently, they were too busy working on their tour.

Then, in the second quarter, Minor League team B'Loons, who had a good showing in the first quarter by hovering lightly above the X-Ball field, just floated away. A search is currently underway in area trees, although Monster Island police are quickly giving up hope of finding a bunch of half-deflated balloons.

The third quarter began with Gridiron of the Monkeys Who Play Sports announcing the Monkeys would forfeit this game, since they didn't think they'd be much of a challenge anyway. "We've lost the past three games," said Gridiron. "And everybody was worn out from building houses for the homeless this weekend. The other teams deserve the glory. Go get it, guys."

Bunny Pickin' Flowers continued their strategy of "making games more interesting" by grabbing the X-Ball and scoring on themselves. As previously established, this is a valid "out" in X-Ball, and the Flowers were out of the game. Sources close to the Flowers say they will be changing their strategy next game to one were they "let the other teams try not to lose."

Reptiles 2 Da Maxx, winning by default, were less than overjoyed. "Go us, I guess," said team captain and Game MVP Vengeance. "I mean, it's great we won again, but I wish we had gotten to play. You know, at all."

X-Ball Online will have a special report next week gauging fan reaction to this game.

The next game will be played on July 1.
