Bif: So we're really beginning to glimpse the Flowers' strategy this game, aren't we Tad.

Tad: Sure are, Bif.

Bif:Care to elaborate, Tad?

Tad:I'm not sure what you're getting at, Bif.

Bif: All right, Tad, they just let everybody else eliminate each other, rather than drawing attention to themselves with flashy or offensive moves.

Tad: Like this one?

Bif: Stop making that hand gesture, Tad, we're on television.

Tad: But what about that Snowman double decker, Bif?

Bif: Simply amazing. If there's one thing you could say about the Extreme Snowmen, it's that they've got the teamwork down.

Tad: Now if they could only get the winning down, too.

Bif: You got that right, Tad.

04.01.01 - The second game of the season continued the unquestioned dominance of the Bunny Pickin' Flowers, with the other teams experiencing unexpected ups and downs.

The big story of the game was that the Extreme Snowmen pulled back from their embarassment in the last game to make it through the first and second quarters, although they were eliminated soon after.

The game began with a jolt, as the incapacitated Hemophiliacs were let into the game, having miraculously recovered only five minutes earlier. Although Sexy Sexy Pirates were standing by to take their place, The Hemophiliacs insisted they were well enough to take the field, unaware of what was waiting for them in the Danger Zone.

With the X-Ball revealed, each team sent in their Danger Zone experts. The Danger was soon revealed to be a group of Vampire Politicians, as dangerous with fangs as they are with legislation. Sensing blood, the Vampires ignored Rage, who had grabbed the X-Ball, and proceeded to feast upon the Minor League team.

With The Hemophiliacs dead, and the first quarter over, attention turned to the Extreme Snowmen. Had Azz Eater conquered his freon addiction? Would he melt, like in the last game? With Rage once again in control of the ball, the answer would come quickly. As Rage passed the X-Ball to Instinct, fans started to notice that Azz Eater was, in fact, melting. Pipsqueak, thinking quickly, jumped on top of the sweaty snowman, and blocked the X-Ball just in time. Holding on to the ball, Pipsqueak vaulted over the momentarily confused Instinct, and using his patented scuttle-jump, he shuffled past the Monkey's defense and planted the ball directly in the goal.

The Snowmen's triumph was brief, though, as Azz Eater was found collapsed in the locker room, having decided to celebrate with a few shots of freon. After a brief huddle, team captain Coolboard Luke announced that, "Snowmen don't continue without their buds," and forfeited the game.

Once again, the game was down to the Reptiles and the Flowers. The Flowers began a strong offensive: Lexie used her telepathic powers to confuse Rage, leaving Amanda enough time to grab the ball. Meanwhile, Sandy rooted Adrenaline to the ground, while Kimberly bit Instinct. Hard.

Pain rushed after the ball-carrying Flower with anger in his eyes. Launching himself in the air, Amanda was unable to avoid the massive Reptile, and was crushed into the ground. Rage, seeming to regain his senses, took control of the ball, and turned towards the Flower's goal.

What he didn't realize, though, was that Lexie was still in control of his mind, and he firmly planted the X-Ball in his own goal, winning the game for the Flowers.

There was a quick discussion as to whether mind control was a legal form of winning a game, with the final answer being in the affirmative. After a victory speech by Amanda and a memorial service for The Hemophiliacs, the Reptiles were returned to their cells and beaten.

The next game will be played on May 6.
